The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for researching, planning, designing and developing the mechanical and structural portions of the company’s products. They coordinate activities involved in process selection for fabrication, assembly and testing of mechanical designs in accordance with product requirements. They may serve as the lead engineer on projects and coordinate work of others or mentor employees.

The Electrical Engineer supports the team by acting as lead on projects and providing technical leadership within the electrical engineering group. They design, develop, test, and maintain the electrical systems and components, ensuring devices are safe, reliable, and compliant with regulatory standards.

The Systems Engineer analyzes, designs, develops, and tests medical device systems to ensure integration of hardware, software, reliability, regulatory compliance, and safety requirements. They serve as contributing members of the Systems Engineering group responsible for design and development of overall radiation delivery systems and subsystems.

The Manufacturing Engineer engages closely with peers to ensure the appropriateness of engineering specifications and development of robust manufacturing processes to support new product introductions, quality improvements and cost reduction. They act as a technical point person in manufacturing for definition, development, troubleshooting and optimization of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools.

The Product Test Engineer works on verification and validation, software and system quality assurance of medical devices. The Test Engineer develops test cases and procedures, executes test protocols, writes and improves Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, performs V&V work using state of the art testing and test automation tools.

The Motion Control Engineer is responsible for researching, planning, designing and developing the core software elements that control critical motion mechanisms in Accuray's radiation therapy products. They assist with defining high-level architecture and detailed hardware implementation of motion devices, leveraging cross-functional skills across software, mechanical, electrical, and systems disciplines.

The Imaging Systems Engineer defines, develops, and supports systems for image-guided radiation therapy. This product-focused role emphasizes the development and integration of imaging hardware, software, and algorithms to enable clinical use cases, assure patient outcomes, achieve customer satisfaction, and improve product reliability. The candidate works proactively and collaboratively on development teams to provide subject matter expertise and facilitate project execution.
