We are recruiting for a Sr. Operations Analyst who must have excellent organizational and analytical skills. You will be detail oriented, possess problem‑solving skills, and be able to work comfortably under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines. To succeed in this position, you should be confident and thorough, with a keen interest in the cost‑efficient operations of the organization. Top candidates will have the ability to work on their own initiative, as part of a team, and be forward‑thinking.
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, and Finance business teams to ensure accurate and proper costing and to perform financial and operational analyses to drive results and sound decision making in support of the company’s goals and objectives.
- Support the external audit, SOX, and SEC reporting requirements that come with working for a public company.
- Manage fiscal close activities, including running reports, preparing and entering month end journal entries for inventory and COGS accounts, and reconciling accounts with supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with various departments to obtain needed information for monthly fiscal close.
- Prepare and analyze quarterly FOB origin calculations and make requisite entries.
- Review and activate new standards and costs in all Accuray Service companies, and assist in setting standards for Madison and Chengdu manufacturing facilities.
- Perform variance analysis for capitalized variances, specifically PPV.
- Maintain ownership of perpetual inventory for multiple entities, assist with general inventory questions, and analyze quarterly DHL to SAP reconciliations.
- Maintain relationships with business partners and drive SAP process improvements in cost, inventory, and operations.
- Prepare required SOX and audit schedules, maintain document controls, processes, and procedures needed to ensure SOX compliance.
- Ensure process integrity within Manufacturing Inventory and Inter‑Company Inventory, working with cross‑functional peers to resolve process issues.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects effectively to meet deadlines and act as an individual contributor.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
- 3–4 years of experience as a staff accountant, cost accountant, or operations analyst preferably within a manufacturing company.
- Experience with SAP S4‑Hana and advanced Excel (pivot tables, SUMIFS, etc.) and other Microsoft Office products is required.
- Proven ability to make timely and informed decisions and to provide well‑reasoned recommendations.
- Experience with finance automation tools such as Power
BI is desired. - Must be authorized to work in the country on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
