Spanish Speaking Behavior Technician

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will support children with autism by implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Document observations and outcomes to support ongoing treatment planning.

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and to complete a Tuberculosis test (if not current within the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Pay rate: starts between $16 and $23 per hour, with increases based on experience, certification level, and highest education.
