Behavior Technician

Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism.

In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to support each child s progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate data collection and progress notes as part of ongoing case management.
• Provide a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for children with autism.

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of completing onboarding requirements
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and a Tuberculosis test (if not current within the last year)
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, reach) and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Patience, compassion, and ability to work well in a team
• Passionate about helping children with autism

Pay Range: $16 - $23 per hour
