Full-Time Hampton Inn Deming is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on General Manager to lead our hotel operations and team. We are looking for a strong leader who takes pride in hospitality, understands hotel operations, and can create an excellent experience for both our guests and employees.

The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the hotel, including guest satisfaction, team leadership, financial performance, brand compliance, property standards, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily hotel operations and ensure the property operates efficiently and professionally.

Recruit, train, develop, schedule, and lead hotel team members.

Maintain a positive work environment while holding employees accountable to company and brand standards.

Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly address guest concerns.

Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement improvements when necessary.

Maintain Hampton by Hilton brand standards and ensure the property is prepared for brand inspections and quality assurance evaluations.

Monitor hotel financial performance, including revenue, payroll, expenses, purchasing, and departmental budgets.

Work closely with revenue management and leadership to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel profitability.

Review daily reports, financial information, payroll, and operational performance.

Maintain proper staffing levels while effectively managing labor costs.

Ensure preventative maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and security standards are consistently maintained throughout the property.

Oversee front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast, and other hotel operations.

Ensure compliance with company policies, Hilton standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Handle employee coaching, performance management, and disciplinary matters appropriately and consistently.

Build relationships within the local community and help identify opportunities to grow hotel business.

Communicate regularly with ownership and regional leadership regarding hotel performance, staffing, maintenance needs, guest concerns, and operational priorities.

Qualifications Previous hotel management experience strongly preferred.

General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, or similar hospitality leadership experience preferred.

Hilton or Hampton brand experience is a plus.

Strong leadership and team-development skills.

Knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, payroll, revenue management, and guest service.

Ability to analyze hotel performance reports and operational metrics.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable holding employees accountable while maintaining a professional and positive workplace.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Must be dependable, professional, and willing to be actively involved in hotel operations.

Flexible availability may be required based on hotel operational needs.
