Lescombes Family Vineyards is the premier vineyard and winery in the state of New Mexico. Albuquerque Cottonwood, Albuquerque Old Town, Alamogordo, and Las Cruces;

Bottling & Cellar Operation Duties:
  • Assist with daily winery production activities, including bottling, labeling, packaging, grape receiving, pressing, wine transfers, and tank operations under the direction of experienced team members.
  • Operate and assist with basic winery equipment, including bottling, labeling, packaging, mixers, and cellar equipment. Learn proper machine setup, changeovers, teardown, and identification of bottle molds and changeover parts.
  • Assist with production line and cellar monitoring, including checking equipment, tank temperatures, gauges, and levels, and promptly reporting any issues or abnormalities to supervisors.
  • Support cleaning, sanitation, and preventative maintenance activities, including CIP procedures, tank cleaning, hose setup, and maintaining organized equipment and work areas.
  • Assist with wine processing activities such as transfers, additions, and basic wine analysis while learning proper procedures and equipment operation.
  • Accurately count and verify inventory and bottling materials, including bottles, corks, caps, crowns, wire hoods, and other supplies.
  • Complete required production, quality control, and cellar checklists, logs, and records while learning to use winery systems and applications such as Knack, Innovint, and other technology.
  • Perform physical production duties such as packon, packoff, stacking, and other tasks necessary to support an efficient production operation.
  • Follow all company policies, ASI guidelines, OSHA requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards while actively participating in training to develop winery equipment and production skills.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new procedures quickly.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to develop troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in machine operation, food/beverage production, or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more on a repetitive basis.
  • Work standing up and walking on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a cold and wet environment (consistently 6065 degrees), for 34 months per year 3040 degrees.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
