This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Equipment Operator role located in Deming, NM. The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating a range of heavy machinery, such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other equipment used in excavation and site preparation. Day-to-day tasks include digging, grading, trenching, moving materials, and assisting with layout and site set-up according to project plans and supervisor instructions.

The role also involves conducting basic equipment inspections, reporting issues, and supporting routine maintenance to keep machinery in good working order. Operators are expected to follow safety protocols, coordinate with crew members, and help maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Ability to operate Heavy Equipment safely and efficiently, with experience in Equipment Operation on construction or excavation sites.
• Knowledge of Excavation practices, including trenching, grading, and earthmoving techniques.
• Experience with basic Equipment Maintenance, including daily inspections, minor adjustments, and reporting mechanical concerns.
• Familiarity with different types of equipment, including Used Equipment, and understanding of their limitations and appropriate uses.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, basic site plans, and directions from supervisors.
• Reliable transportation to the Deming, NM job site and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Previous heavy equipment operating experience; relevant certifications or licenses are preferred.
• Ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
