Salary: $32 - $40 per hour

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on food processing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair seamers (Angelus preferred) and filling equipment
• Conduct seam teardowns, inspections, and adjustments across various can sizes
• Execute mechanical repairs and diagnose equipment failures
• Perform welding, torch cutting, and fabrication work as needed
• Troubleshoot basic electrical systems and components
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
• Maintain lubrication schedules and perform routine inspections
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and plant safety standards
• Complete maintenance documentation and required paperwork
  
  Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support additional maintenance tasks as assigned

Qualifications – Needed:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
• Minimum 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or food processing
• Strong experience with seamers and filling equipment
• Background in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Welding experience (required – torch and plasma cutting preferred)
• Experience with power tools and pipe fitting
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• Proven ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
