Position Summary
Drive sales and ensure effective merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory management, store operations, and customer service.
Responsibilities- Ensure accurate competitive pricing, proper signing, and efficient inventory level management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, and oversee stocking and rotation of merchandise.
- Lead and develop teams through teaching, training, and active listening.
- Communicate store operations, technology, and merchandising initiatives across all levels.
- Model and deliver exceptional customer service standards following the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
- Provide supervision, development, and coaching of hourly associates.
- Control merchandise loss by identifying performance goals, reviewing inventory reports, and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct investigations of violations, fraud, and other security‑related issues; prepare case reports and provide testimony as required.
- Monitor safety and risk controls, identify accident trends, and implement prevention plans.
- Manage claims and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Maintain custody of company policies and procedures, and promote a culture of belonging and integrity.
- Completion of 2 years of college.
- One of the following: 1 year supervisory experience in a multi‑department environment; 1 year experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection; 2 years experience in asset protection or related area.
- Successful completion of any applicable state requirements for asset protection (e.g., minimum age, specialized training, certification, or licensing). If required, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility, and a successful criminal background check and/or firearms authorized training.
- Required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or similar degree.
- Certification in an asset protection related field (e.g., Loss Prevention Qualified, Loss Prevention Certified).
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports with performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing responsibilities.
- Investigative experience in loss prevention or security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
