Day Shift Pay Rate: $54.00/hr
Night Shift Pay Rate: $56.50/hr
Per Diem: $125/Day (18 Days of Per Diem for Candidates Residing More Than 50 Miles from the Project)
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly

The client is actively hiring for both day-shift and night-shift safety coverage.
Why This Opportunity?Join a contractor supporting a critical shutdown project involving conveyor replacement and mechanical equipment installation at an active industrial manufacturing facility in Demopolis, AL.
This role provides hands‑on safety leadership during a fast‑paced outage involving heavy mechanical work, conveyor change‑outs, crane and rigging activities, confined space entry, excavation, elevated work, and contractor coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting industrial construction, manufacturing facilities, or mining environments and be comfortable working extended shifts during a scheduled shutdown.
Required Qualifications- OSHA 510 Certification
- MSHA Part 46 Certification or willingness to complete MSHA New Miner Training prior to mobilization
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
- Experience supporting industrial construction or manufacturing projects
- Working knowledge of confined space entry, excavation, and fall protection
- Above‑ground mining safety experience
- Mechanical installation or shutdown/outage experience
- Conveyor installation or maintenance experience
- Crane and rigging safety experience
- CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
- Oversee daily safety activities during conveyor replacement and mechanical installation operations
- Maintain a highly visible field presence throughout the shutdown project
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, field observations, and risk assessments
- Monitor mechanical equipment removal, installation, and alignment activities
- Support crane, rigging, lifting, and material handling operations
- Ensure compliance with confined space entry requirements and permit systems
- Monitor excavation activities and protective systems
- Support fall protection and elevated work activities
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, lift plans, and pre‑task plans
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and site‑specific safety requirements
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, inspections, and compliance records
- Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the outage
