Role OverviewSenior Finance Leader as Lead Financial Controller at APM Terminals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and inspire an international consolidation and financial controlling team.
- Own and continuously improve the group consolidation and financial close processes.
- Ensure accurate accounting and reporting under IFRS and APMM GAAP, including complex areas such as foreign exchange, leases, provisions, impairments, and business combinations.
- Act as primary liaison for external auditors, managing audit planning, execution, and remediation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial reporting risks while strengthening internal controls across entities.
- Sponsor and drive finance improvement and transformation initiatives at group level.
- Provide clear, decision‑useful financial insights to senior finance and business stakeholders.
- Drive consistent reporting standards, governance, and best practices across the organization.
- Operate confidently in complex, deadline‑driven reporting environments with high expectations on quality and accuracy.
- Strong improvement mindset: curious about how financial processes operate at scale and motivated to enhance quality, efficiency, and transparency through sustainable change.

- Strong people leadership experience within an international finance or controlling environment.
- Deep IFRS expertise combined with a pragmatic, business‑focused approach.
- High ownership, strong control awareness, and sound professional judgement.
- Proven ability to operate under tight deadlines in complex consolidation and reporting environments.
- Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
