The Associate for Agribusiness, Food & Forestry focuses on driving impactful investments within Africa, contributing to sustainable food security initiatives. The position combines portfolio management with new transaction execution, requiring proactive and professional engagement with clients and colleagues. The role involves conducting credit reviews, managing client performance, and participating in due diligence processes to ensure strategic alignment and effective investment outcomes.

• Perform portfolio management activities including analysis and reporting on client performance.
• Draft disbursement memos and manage change requests.
• Prepare investment proposals through thorough market and financial analysis.
• Conduct due diligence visits and provide administrative support for compliance and reporting.
• Engage in financial modeling to prepare project projections.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in investee companies.
• Participate in internal project teams across the organization.

• Master’s degree in finance, business administration, engineering, or economics.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in financial services, with a focus on credit analysis and debt transaction execution.
• Strong understanding of the agribusiness sector and affiliated ESG topics.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and financial modeling skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
• A proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented attitude.
