General

Department

The Human Resources department supports the organisation with both strategic HR advice and high-quality operational HR services. This position is part of the HR team and focuses primarily on the execution of personnel and payroll administration.

General function description

As HR Officer – Personnel and Payroll Administration, you are responsible for the operational execution of personnel and payroll administration. You ensure that employee data, contracts, payroll mutations and related administrative processes are processed accurately and on time in HR2day.

You work closely with the HR Advisor responsible for payroll, who focuses on interpretation of legislation and strategic advice. You take ownership of the day-to-day administrative execution.

You also support the administrative processes related to student assistants and act as a practical point of contact for payroll and administration questions.

This position is available for 0.8 – 1.0 FTE.

Key responsibilities
  • Personnel and payroll administration:
    Executing personnel and payroll administration in HR2day
  • Processing contracts, amendments and terminations
  • Supporting payroll processing and checks
  • Applying the Collective Labour Agreement (CLA – CAO HBO)
  • Student assistant administration:
    Contract and hour administration
  • Payroll support
  • Process improvement:
    Monitoring and improving administrative quality
Candidate profile

You have/are:

  • Experience in personnel and payroll administration
  • Experience with HR systems (HR2day preferred)
  • Knowledge of CLA – CAO HBO
  • PDL certification is a strong advantage or willingness to obtain it
  • Accurate, structured, organised and detail-oriented
  • Fluent in Dutch & English, both spoken and written
  • Willing to work at both our campuses The Hague & Amsterdam
Remuneration

Salary based on scale 7 CAO HBO ( 2.950,65 - 4.084,93 euro based on full time)

Includes 13th month, 428 hours leave, pension via ABP and travel allowance.

Additional information:

This position is for 0.8 – 1.0 FTE. The start date as soon as possible.

A VOG and English proficiency test are required.
