Within the discipline of Computerisation & Automation (I&A), you will work on future‑proof information management. Due to new laws and regulations, the Open Government Act, GDPR, the new Public Records Act and the preparation for connection to the e‑Depot, the province is facing an extensive change task. As Archive and Information Management Coordinator, you will manage a team of approximately 17 professionals and give direction to the further development of information management, archiving and records management within the organization.
You combine strategic thinking with operational management and play an important role in the further professionalization of the team.
- Developing vision, policies and long‑term plans for information management
- Implementing a roadmap for information management and information transition
- Drafting and implementing a training plan for the team
- Drawing up an implementation plan for connection to the e‑Depot
- Implementing information governance and archiving policies
- Developing a governance and accountability model
- Preparation of a multi‑year plan for improving information management
- Coordinating daily activities around information management and archiving
- Managing and supervising a team of approximately 17 professionals
- Guiding change processes within the team
- Translating organizational objectives into concrete plans and activities
- Advising management and stakeholders on risks, opportunities and developments
- Overseeing digital and physical records management
- Supervision of selection, destruction and transfer of archives
- Advising on the design of systems and information issues
- Implementing archiving by design in accordance with DUTO guidelines
- Assessing application record management suitability
- Fulfilling the role of official contractor
- Building and maintaining collaborative relationships inside and outside the organization
- Monitoring the quality, capacity and progress of work
- Identifying bottlenecks and initiating improvement measures
- HBO working and thinking level
- Completed training in the field of information management, archive management or similar
- At least 3 years of proven experience with information management, records management and archive systems
- Demonstrable knowledge of the Public Records Act
- Demonstrable knowledge of the Open Government Act (Woo)
- Demonstrable knowledge of the GDPR
- Preferably knowledge of DUTO guidelines
- At least 2 years of experience as a manager or coordinator in a similar position
- At least 6 months of experience in guiding teams in change processes
- Excellent command of the Dutch language (at least C1)
- At least 5 years of experience within a political‑administrative environment such as a province, municipality, water board or other government organization
- More than 5 years of experience as a coordinator or team leader
- Extensive experience in information management and records management
- Experience as Archive and Information Management Coordinator at multiple organizations
- Certifications or training in the field of the Public Records Act, Woo, GDPR and DUTO
- Experience with information transitions
- Experience with e‑Depot implementations
- Experience with archiving by design
- Experience with governance issues surrounding information governance
- Experience with in provincial organizations
- Experience with change processes within information management
