Organizational Context and Scope
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission in the Netherlands and the direct supervision of the Head of the ERCOM Unit, the Senior Project Associate (Institutional Donor Engagement ) acts as the focal point supporting the Mission’s engagement with institutional donors. The position supports donor relations, resource mobilization and stewardship activities, contributing to continuity, coordination and alignment with IOM corporate fundraising frameworks.

The role plays a key support function in the implementation of the Mission’s fundraising strategy, coordination of donor engagement activities, and management of donor intelligence and institutional memory, in close coordination with SRO Brussels, RO Vienna and Headquarters.

Required Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma with six years of relevant professional experience; or

Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies, Economics, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant professional experience.

Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

Experience

Experience in donor relations, fundraising, external relations or institutional partnerships.

Experience coordinating donor engagement, reporting or resource mobilization processes is an asset.

Previous experience in an international organization, UN agency or governmental context is an advantage.

Skills

Strong drafting, coordination and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple donor relationships and information flows.

Familiarity with CRM systems and structured donor tracking is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Languages
All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish).

For this position, fluency in English and Dutch is required (oral and written).

Working knowledge of other IOM language (Spanish, French)…
