HINDI or URDU Food Field Sales Executive

Overview   Junior (trainee) regional outdoor sales role based in The Netherlands (Holland). If you speak fluent Hindi (or Urdu) and English and enjoy being out of the office meeting potential restaurant owners and representatives of supermarkets, this is a role with the chance to travel internationally and receive full training in a growth-sector food supplier that sells high-end Indian & Asian ingredients into the UK, Europe and Holland.

The role offers full training and you will operate independently, organising your own diary with international customer visits and talking to supermarkets, restauranteurs and retailers. You will attend food events/conferences and develop new business.

Your role will be to introduce customers to new Indian food flavours and products. You need to have a sales background (not a lot of experience required) and a demonstrable passion for food. There are excellent career opportunities in this expanding sector at the moment and the role offers independence, earnings potential and global travel.

This is a well-established food import/export business that specialises in importing specialist food products from India and Asia and supplies supermarkets and restaurant chains. The company has gone through a recent explosion in growth as a result of the increased interest in home-cooking that started during Covid. People are now experimenting with new flavours and new dishes and this company has been able to expand strongly to accommodate increasingly sophisticated and international dishes.

In this role you will introduce your retail clients to new products, build new relationships with prospects all over Europe and the UK, arrange visits and do new business development

Contact potential or existing customers to promote products to supermarkets
Arrange visits to existing customers and also new potential customers
Introduce customers to new tastes and flavours (and recipes)
Liaise with the sales order processing team in the office in The Hague who will do your order processing for you
Negotiate sales volumes and new supplier contracts
Constantly visit existing customers to ensure that they are happy with the products and service
You will work to sales targets
Requirements       Fluent Hindi or Urdu and English (Dutch would be useful)
Full valid Dutch driving licence
A passion for cooking and food
Ideally some previous sales experience
NO visa work restrictions for the Netherlands
