Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer will manage medium to large-scale projects from concept through execution. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally with production, vendors, and leadership teams.

• Develop engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates
• Conduct feasibility studies and support design decisions
• Manage projects from concept through execution
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and plant teams
• Review engineering work for compliance with codes and standards
• Oversee installation and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
• Manage project budgets and financial performance
• Lead project planning, scope definition, and bid evaluations
• Maintain project documentation including drawings and manuals
• Support production line modifications and process improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of project engineering experience
• Strong project management and budget management experience
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Manufacturing experience required (food preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Food manufacturing experience
• Meat processing or kill floor experience
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects
• Knowledge of food processing systems and equipment
