Support location EHS programs ensuring regulatory and Smithfield standards compliance;
Assist in applications for environmental permits to regulatory agencies to prevent lapses in coverage;
Support environmental programs including asbestos O&M, RMP, EPCRA, hazardous waste, SPCC, SW3P, air permits, and chemical handling;
Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management/Risk Management Plan requirements for ammonia refrigeration systems and associated permits;
Provide training for production employees and management on OSHA, environmental permits, and emergency response regulatory programs
