welding lab assistant
provides technical assistance to students either in a classroom or laboratory setting and assists with teaching students according to established policies and procedures under the supervision of the welding instructor.
hourly rate: $20.00 per hour.
responsibilities- 60% provides group instruction and one-on-one tutoring; communicates and explains familiar and new concepts to students with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of welding skills.
- 35% assists students in the use of equipment.
- 5% keeps the lab clean and organized.

qualifications- high school diploma or ged required.
- one year work experience as a welder or welding degree/certificate required.
- previous experience as a teacher or lab assistant is preferred.
