grayson college is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced adjunct instructor for logistics, materials handling, supply chain management in the logistics management program. The adjunct instructor is responsible for classroom and laboratory instruction that prepares students for entry‑level employment in the supply chain/distribution industry through hands‑on training and applied technical knowledge.
the salary for this position is $700 per credit hour.
responsibilities- 75% teach assigned logistics courses in classroom, online and laboratory environments. Provide instruction in a hybrid learning environment combining online coursework with hands‑on laboratory training. Demonstrate ability to apply decision making techniques based on time, materials, and space; apply forecasting techniques related to inventory control and interpret the principles of materials handling as it relates to time, form, and place utility.
- 10% work collaboratively with faculty and staff in the industrial technology department. Follow faculty responsibilities outlined in the faculty handbook and college policies.
- 10% assist with measuring and reporting student learning outcomes in support of career‑ready education standards and accreditation requirements.
- 5% perform other duties as assigned by the dean and/or director.

qualifications- minimum two years of field experience in logistics, materials handling, and supply chain management. Experience in supply chain planning/analyst, inventory control, logistics management is preferred. Teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.

- knowledge of logistics and/or supply chain components and operations.
- ability to demonstrate troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures.
- basic computer skills for instructional and administrative tasks.
