recruits students to attend grayson college through a variety of marketing activities and events. The recruiter ii requires a high level of skill in motivating and influencing others to foster relationships with prospective students. The role routinely travels to college fairs, high schools, and community events to inform community members and prospective students about grayson college. Recruiters share information about career pathways and majors as well as career outlook and wage data.
The recruiter ii promotes grayson college and increases enrollment. Additional responsibilities include gathering student documents, providing outreach to prospective students, analyzing high school and college transcripts for college placement and transferability of coursework, admitting students to the college, ensuring accuracy of student records, and entering required information into the student information system and/or crm to complete the admissions process. This position requires attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
the salary range for this position is $21.29 to $31.93 per hour.

- 40% serves students as a primary representative of grayson college; shares information about the college and the enrollment process in person through external community events, by phone, or electronic messaging such as email or text.
- 25% develops and delivers presentations presenting career and pathway information to students.
- 20% assists students with pathway selection, advises students on required admissions documents, gathers and processes admissions documents.
- 10% maintains accurate records regarding recruitment activities and prospective student contacts.
- 5% performs other job duties as assigned.

performance measurements- experience: one to two years of similar or related experience.
- education: (1) a two-year college degree or (2) completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) completion of a specialized and extensive in‑house training or apprenticeship program.
- interpersonal skills: a significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and may be of a personal or sensitive nature; it may involve motivating or influencing others and fostering relationships with other entities.
- other skills: may require understanding or experience working with specific student populations; strong written and verbal communication skills; relationship building and marketing skills; and provides a high level of service to the community.
- physical requirements: office work is typically sedentary. The role requires the ability to travel by car to recruiting events and activities. Setup of events and participation may require walking, standing, bending, and moderate lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.
- work environment: regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office. Special events may require work outdoors or at schools and community partner sites.
