City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and after-school academic support to students in partner schools
• Build positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and social-emotional growth
• Support teachers with classroom activities, small group work, and behavior management
• Track and document student progress and attendance using City Year tools and processes
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and professional development sessions
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team to plan and deliver student support initiatives
• Assist with school-wide events, family outreach, and community service projects
