Environmental Engineer
Performs technical work of average difficulty analyzing water/wastewater plant samples and recording the results. Performs related work as required.

- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in either of the chemical, environmental, biological sciences, physical sciences or engineering to comply with state requirements.
- Must have valid driver’s license at the time of placement.
- Must have driving record sufficient for coverage by City’s auto liability carrier.

- Ability to withstand frequent standing and walking.
- Ability to withstand frequently carrying and lifting objects ranging from 1‑25 pounds.
- Ability to withstand occasionally carrying and lifting objects ranging from 25‑50 pounds.
- Ability to occasionally perform the function of the job by squatting, kneeling and/or crawling.
- Ability to frequently bend, climb, reach overhead and below shoulder level while performing job duties.
- Ability to turn knobs, levers, cranks, wrenches, valves and handles.
- Ability to step up or down to enter or exit City properties.
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends on an as‑need basis.
