Universal Health Services - - - Responsibilities:
Perform Pre-Admission and Admission services to all patients in all areas of the hospital.;
Correctly identify patient and maintain accurate patient information within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).;
Collect financial information including payment from the patient/guarantor and obtain insurance information, benefits and authorizations for services.;
Calculate insurance company co-payments, deductibles and collect financial responsibility due from patients at the time of admission or discharge.;
Obtain Medical and Financial Consents, secure proper signatures on required documents.
