Position Summary
To provide therapeutic modes of respiratory treatments to all patients. In addition to duties of a certified respiratory therapist, may perform advanced diagnostic testing, patient assessment, and intervention. Serves as a preceptor for other therapists.
Compensation & Benefits***$10,000 SIGN ON BONUS***
Qualifications- A minimum of an associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care unless licensure was obtained prior to November 11, 2009.
- One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting preferred.
- Licensed as a RRT by the Texas Medical Board and registered by NBRC.
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS, and PALS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. NRP within 90 days of employment.
