B. Miller Medical Center -  - Responsibilities:
Perform Pre-Admission and Admission services to patients in all areas of the hospital.;
Identify patient and maintain accurate patient information within the Electronic Medical Record.;
Collect financial information including payment from the patient/guarantor.;
Obtain insurance information, benefits, and authorizations for services.;
Calculate insurance co-payments and deductibles and collect financial responsibility at admission or discharge.;
Obtain medical and financial consents and secure signatures on required documents.;
Provide required information to patients concerning their Patient Rights, Privacy and Advance Care Directives.
