• Outgoing, energetic, and motivated candidate with at least 2 years of custodian services.
• Maintain/spot‑clean all carpets and furniture.
• Maintain cleanliness of all office, restrooms and laboratories daily.
• Maintain floors—sweep, mop, scrub, and use Kai Vac/Omniflex machine as required.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Coordinate and perform general custodial functions such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and light fixtures.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms; replenish paper supplies and soap; sweep and mop nightly.
• Perform minor maintenance and repair work on custodial equipment.
• Inspect areas for quality assurance per Custodial Log Book.
• Clean office furniture, walls, windows, water faucets and floors of stains and fingerprints.
• Operate floor‑maintenance equipment; backpack vacuum and mop ringer.
• Deal effectively with the public.
• Maintain inventory records of equipment and supplies and submit reorder requests.
• Read and write English at a 10th‑grade level.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• May train others and perform related work as assigned.

• Standing/walking for the length of shift (4–8 hours).
• Bending up and down as necessary during full shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with accommodations available).

• Use of cleaning supplies such as mop, cleaning chemicals and vacuum.

• Indoor, with limited outside exposure.

$15.00 to $16.00 per hour.
