the director of admissions and recruiting provides leadership and operational oversight for all admissions and recruitment functions of the college. This position is responsible for developing, executing, and assessing strategic recruitment initiatives that increase new student enrollment and strengthen the college's presence across service areas. The director oversees the admissions process from prospect through admittance, ensures efficient and compliant processing of student applications and documentation, and leads data-informed outreach strategies that expand the enrollment pipeline.
The director oversees front-end enrollment growth through admissions operations, recruiting strategy, community partnerships, and enrollment funnel performance. The salary range for this position is $83,593.73 to $ per annually based on years of experience.

- 20% – admissions operations oversight: provides strategic leadership and oversight of admissions operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant application processing. Establishes service standards to improve efficiency and the applicant experience, while maintaining regulatory compliance. Leads continuous improvement of admissions workflows and procedures for consistency and scalability. Develops and aligns recruitment materials and messaging to support targeted outreach and institutional brand standards.
- 20% – recruitment strategy & outreach execution: leads the development and execution of a data-informed recruitment strategy to increase applications and enrollment. Manages territory-based recruitment models to optimize outreach across key student populations and partners. Provides oversight for on- and off-campus recruitment initiatives and events. Oversees planning and continuous improvement of promise programs to strengthen the enrollment pipeline and support institutional goals.
- 15% – enrollment funnel management and reporting: uses admissions and recruitment data to evaluate trends, inform enrollment strategies, and establish goals. Develops reports to track the prospect-to-enrollment funnel and key metrics. Identifies inefficiencies and implements data-driven improvements to streamline processes and increase conversion rates.
- 10% – staff leadership & performance management: provides leadership for admissions and recruiting staff through effective hiring, onboarding, training, supervision, and performance evaluation processes. Establishes clear performance metrics aligned with application growth, territory management outcomes, and service delivery standards to drive accountability and results. Cultivates a high-performing, student-centered culture that emphasizes responsiveness, continuous improvement, and shared ownership of enrollment goals.

- 10% stakeholder engagement & cross-functional collaboration: builds and maintains partnerships with schools, community organizations, and workforce partners to strengthen the student pipeline.
