The Winder is responsible for operating winding equipment to produce high-quality industrial insulation products. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate winding machines to wrap and form insulation materials according to specifications
- Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed to meet production standards
- Measure, cut, and secure materials to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety guidelines
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- Assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to read measurements and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

- Exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and varying temperatures
- Requires standing, bending, and repetitive motion throughout the shift
