General Production- 2nd Shift

Our General Laborer position is responsible for the safe and efficient set up, inspection and operation of equipment and machinery used in the processing of meat products. The role includes following standard operating procedures, completing production related paperwork, and meeting product specifications.

• Set up, inspect, and operate equipment and machinery in meat product processing.
• Follow standard operating procedures and complete necessary production paperwork.
• Utilize hand tools, knives, machinery, and equipment to process meat products.
• Maintain a safe and efficient production line and support coworkers.

• Perform continuous or repetitive movements, including grasping, pinching hands, flexing, and extending arms.
• Stand on concrete or platforms for up to a 12‑hour shift.
• Work around animal blood and carcass parts.
• Use a knife (if trained).
• Work in cold areas (approximately 20–40°F) or warm areas (over 100°F).
• Work in a wet, humid, and noisy environment while wearing appropriate PPE.
• Climb and move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways, and platforms.
• Bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly during the shift.
• Walk long distances and adjust to changing work conditions.
• May require certification to operate equipment.

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing and able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Perform tasks requiring continuous or repetitive movement.
• Stand on concrete and/or platforms for up to a 12‑hour shift.
• Work around animal blood and/or carcass parts.
• Work with a knife (if trained).
• Work in cold or warm areas.
• Work in wet, humid, and noisy environments wearing PPE.
• Use sanitation/cleaning chemicals.
• Work with strong smells or odors.
• Climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways, and platforms.
• Bend, stoop, and twist repetitively over the course of the shift.
• Walk long distances.
• May require certification to operate various pieces of equipment.
