donor relations coordinator
role
: responsible for ensuring a comprehensive donor relations and alumni engagement program that builds strong connections with donors and alumni to support fundraising goals; oversees donor recognition and stewardship of gifts to the college; manages donor relations database and annual giving campaigns/societies, collaborates with central marketing and communications to develop tailored communications for multi‑channel outreach and giving opportunities; administers annual scholarship award process/cycle.
the salary range for this position is $20.69 to 31.04 per hour.
essential functions & responsibilities- 25% promote, review and administer grayson college foundation scholarship selection.
- 20% develop and distribute the annual foundation report, annual donor endowment reports and annual donor scholarship reports.
- 15% manage data coding processes in fund accounting and other data tables to ensure data integrity for fund review processes, including the tracking process for quarter fund review reports.
- 15% audit, analyze and implement impactful, personalized stewardship and donor relations activities that help build the pipeline and increase donor retention.
- 15% manage specialized giving campaigns and related donor giving societies.
- 10% support the organization and execution of donor events.

performance measurementsexperience: two years to five years of similar or related experience.
education: (1) a two‑year college degree or (2) completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) completion of a specialized and extensive in‑house training or apprenticeship program.
interpersonal skills: courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the college for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
other skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of alumni, faculty, donors, and colleagues throughout the college.
