Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has provided quality health care to residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. We have numerous facilities in locations throughout the Texoma region. Texoma residents depend on TMC to meet a spectrum of physical, mental and spiritual needs.
TMC offers major specialty services including open heart surgery and neurosurgery, with advanced resources such as certified trauma care supporting TMC’s role as a regional specialty center.
The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Nursing provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care form the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations provide guidelines for competent, safe and professional practice.

Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Requirements:
- Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
- One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.
- RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines; all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation or upon transfer, and must be completed prior to working in a clinical setting. See additional department proficiency requirements above.
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
- Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
