Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and care partners in accordance with facility policies and nursing standards.
- Lead and support the healthcare team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Assume shift responsibility, planning and coordinating care in a fast‑paced environment.
- Mentor and supervise nursing staff, fostering professional growth and compliance with clinical competencies.
- Participate in charge nurse or supervisory duties, including shift handoffs and patient safety initiatives.

- Current RN licensure in Texas (compact acceptable), BSN preferred.
- Minimum two years acute care nursing experience.
- Preferred one year charge nurse or supervisory experience.
- Maintain all required clinical competencies for area of supervision.
- Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC; additional certifications as required.
- Clinical certification in the specific area of supervision preferred (e.g., CEN, TCEN).
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Excellent communication skills and proven team leadership.
- Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Basic computer application skills.
