Texoma Medical Center is a 414‑bed acute care facility that has served North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. The main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. We also operate numerous facilities throughout the Texoma region and serve a diverse patient population with specialty services including open heart surgery, neurosurgery, and certified trauma care.

The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Nursing also provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, applying patient‑centered care principles and adhering to the Standards of Practice established by professional nursing associations. • Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, or compact required; BSN preferred.
• Two years of experience in acute care specialty nursing.
• One year of charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must maintain all clinical competencies for area of supervision.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required.
• Must maintain all additional certifications required by area of supervision.
• Clinical certification in area of supervision preferred (e.g., CEN, TCEN).
• Must be clinically competent in area of population served.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate team leadership.
• Must have the ability to problem‑solve and think critically.
• Must possess basic computer application skills.
