Responsibilities
Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility, has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The nurse will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times, and adhere to the Standards of Practice set forth by professional nursing associations.

- Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
- One year full‑time experience in an acute care setting.
- RQI BLS and ACLS required.
- Completion of BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines and all required Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Healthcare Provider courses during new hire orientation or upon transfer.
- Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
- Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served.
