Responsibilities

Texoma Medical Center is a 414‑bed acute care facility located in Denison, Texas. The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Nurses demonstrate service excellence and adhere to the Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations.

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• One year full‑time experience in an acute care setting.
• RQI BLS and ACLS required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course required; additional ECC courses will be provided during orientation and must be completed before clinical work.
• Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Must be able to identify and competently address the needs of the populations served.
