Clinical Supervisor; Rn - Progressive Cardiac Unit

Responsibilities

Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Demonstrate professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, emphasizing Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence. Follow the Standards of Practice set forth by professional nursing associations to ensure competent, safe, and professional practice.

• BSN preferred; current RN licensure in the State of Texas or a compact.
• Two years of experience in acute care specialty nursing; one year charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must maintain all clinical competencies for area of supervision and maintain all proficiencies required by area of supervision.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS Healthcare Provider certification; all required ECC Healthcare Provider courses will be provided during new hire orientation and must be completed prior to clinical work.
• Clinical certification in area of supervision preferred (e.g., CCRN, PCCN).
