Responsibilities

Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. In addition, we have numerous facilities in locations throughout the Texoma region.

The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Additionally, nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR experience. Degree in Human Resources related field strongly preferred. RN preferred, BSN a plus.
• 0-5 years (minimum of 5 years if not degree). If no BSN, requires two (2) years HR experience. Nurse recruitment experience strongly preferred.
• Current Human Resources or Recruiter certification strongly preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CHCR, CHHR)
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with a wide variety of applicants and customers.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Make solid recruitment recommendations to management based on relevant, timely information.
• Self motivated and handles sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
• Computer proficiency includes Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
• Strong understanding of applicable recruitment skills, Human Resources policies and procedures, as well as Federal and state laws applicable to designated geographic recruitment area.
