Job Overview

The basic purpose of nursing is to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient-centered Care is the foundation for all nursing care, and Service Excellence standards are demonstrated at all times. Nursing practice follows the Standards of Practice set forth by professional nursing associations to ensure competent, safe, and professional care.

• Current Texas nursing license or compact license.
• One year full-time experience in an acute care setting.
• Required RQI BLS and ACLS certification.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served.
