1st Shift QA Auditor

Job Title

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Audits/enforces GMP's, SSOP's, TQC, HACCP and USDA requirements.
• Knowledge of HACCP SOP requirements and make decision based on set procedures.
• Perform AS400 computer transactions.
• Write shift summaries. Write weekly reports as necessary.
• Identify potential food safety issues and involve the proper department leads/supervisors.
• Identify non-conforming products.
• Audit product for export.
• Assist in coaching/training of team members for proper documentation, product quality and food safety.
• Coordinate a sampling plan for products on hold.
• Record, identify and calibrate thermometers.
• Perform swabbing as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must pass a math test with a minimum score of 75%.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Excellent communication skill, both oral and written.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of AS400 preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP(s), and Food Safety Principles.
• Good attendance.
