Learn more:  As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors, verifying credentials, managing badges and logs, and monitoring security-related activity.

You will conduct routine patrols and stay visible to help reduce incidents while providing clear communication and helpful customer service. You will bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, put people first, deliver through teamwork, and act with integrity.

• Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and security-related procedures at an industrial location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, managing badge and key control processes, processing visitors, and maintaining entry and exit logs for employees, guests, and deliveries.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by directing commercial vehicles to designated areas, checking required paperwork, and documenting truck and trailer activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through the appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, and perimeter areas, and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV and alarms to help deter unauthorized access and/or activity.

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
