Job Description

Location:

Office in Bali

• Full Entity Ownership:
  Own the Indonesian books end‑to‑end, from daily transaction processing to month‑end close, with full accuracy and timeliness.
• Regional Tax Compliance:
  Manage tax obligations across Indonesia, Singapore, and India independently, including indirect taxes, withholding taxes, and annual corporate filings, and reduce dependency on external advisors over time.
• Accounts Receivable and Payable:
  Process AR and AP across the company’s regional entities, maintain aging reports, and coordinate payment approvals with the Finance Manager.
• Controls and Reporting:
  Maintain audit‑ready books and support the Finance Manager with regional reporting and controls across all entities.
• Bookkeeping and Transaction Processing:
  Record all daily financial transactions in Quick Books with accurate GL coding, import bank statements, and perform weekly bank reconciliations.
• Regional Tax Compliance (detailed):
  Handle Indonesian tax obligations (PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 25, SPT Badan), support Singapore tax compliance (GST filing, corporate income tax returns), coordinate with India tax responsibilities, and monitor legislative changes.
• Accounts Receivable:
  Reconcile customer payments to invoices in Quick Books.
• Accounts Payable:
  Receive and validate vendor invoices, record vendor bills with correct coding, and maintain AP aging reports.
• Month‑End Close:
  Prepare accrual journals and prepayment amortisation entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, and contribute to the consolidated month‑end close pack within 10 working days.

• All regional tax filings submitted on time with zero late submissions.
• Indonesian monthly tax obligations (PPN, PPh 21, PPh 23) processed and filed by statutory deadlines.
• Singapore GST and income tax filings submitted accurately and on time; IRAS queries addressed within agreed timelines.
• Bank reconciliations completed within 5 working days of month‑end.
• Month‑end close across all assigned entities completed within 10 working days of month‑end.

This position reports directly to the Finance Manager, who is responsible for financial reporting, controls, month‑end close oversight, and strategic financial planning. The Senior Financial Accountant will work closely with the broader Singapore‑based finance team to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity across all regional entities.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3–5 years of accounting and tax compliance experience, with demonstrated exposure to multiple jurisdictions within APAC or Southeast Asia.
• Tax Certification:
  Indonesian Brevet A and B certification preferred; equivalent or additional tax qualifications from other APAC jurisdictions are a strong advantage.
• Accounting Standards:
  Working knowledge of IFRS and/or local accounting standards applicable across APAC jurisdictions (e.g., PSAK/SAK for Indonesia, Singapore FRS).
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Quick Books or similar accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Language:
  Professional working proficiency in English required for communication with the Finance Manager and cross‑regional team.
• Proactive Problem‑Solving:
  Ability to manage a full compliance calendar independently and elevate risks without prompting.
