Location: Denpasar

Kaleka (Kaleka.) is an Indonesian non‑profit research institute established in 2014 with the aim of promoting sustainable and equitable production of commodities and the use of natural resources by engaging governments, businesses, and social communities. As we scale up, we are seeking motivated and skilled professionals to join our team and support our mission.

We are looking for a Finance Coordinator who manages daily financial transactions, maintains expense and payable/receivable records, and ensures timely project financial reporting. The candidate will support cross‑team SOP compliance, oversee financial archives, and assist management during audit processes. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar finance role and strong attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervising daily transactions (bank payments, expense report verification, incoming cash)
  • Maintaining and controlling expense report database and employee payable/receivable to ensure timely submission and settlement
  • Ensuring project financial reports are prepared and submitted in a timely manner
  • Providing support to other teams to ensure compliance with financial SOPs
  • Keeping track of archives and compliance with SOPs
  • Providing assistance to managers and directors during the financial audit process
  • Providing other relevant support as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, financial management or a relevant discipline from a reputable university; holding a master’s degree is an advantage
  • 2–3 years of experience in a finance team at a non‑profit organization; prior experience as an auditor in an accounting firm is a plus
  • Demonstrated theoretical and practical knowledge in bookkeeping, taxation, financial reporting and accounting standards
  • Skilled in team leadership, target delivery under tight deadlines with attention to detail
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
