Assistant Tax Manager - Job Description

• Prepare, review, and ensure timely submission of all corporate tax returns and tax compliance reports.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Manage tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's tax position while maintaining compliance.
• Review tax reconciliations and support monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Coordinate and manage tax audits conducted by the tax authorities, including preparing supporting documents, responding to audit inquiries, and negotiating audit findings.
• Handle SP2DK (Request for Explanation of Data and/or Information) by preparing supporting documentation, drafting responses, and coordinating with relevant internal departments and the tax authorities.
• Liaise with tax authorities, external auditors, and tax consultants on tax-related matters.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks while providing practical tax solutions to business operations.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and provide guidance to management regarding their impact.
• Supervise and mentor tax staff to ensure high-quality work and continuous professional development.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and other tax-related projects as required.
