Client Overview

Our client is a confidential multi-entity business group operating within property development and hospitality in Bali and Lombok. The group manages several operating entities under a shared ownership structure and is entering a phase of organizational consolidation and professionalization.

Job Role

This role serves as the Group HR Manager, responsible for leading HR functions across multiple entities, aligning HR strategy, governance, and execution while maintaining discretion, stability, and continuity during the transition. The role oversees end-to-end human resources management, ensuring that HR policies, people strategies, and operational practices are aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and the group’s culture.

Combining group-level HR leadership with hands‑on execution, the role covers talent management, employee relations, compliance, HR operations, and organizational development in a multi‑site, owner‑driven environment. The successful candidate must be comfortable navigating diverse leadership styles, maintaining confidentiality, and enforcing HR discipline while remaining pragmatic and business‑oriented.

Key Responsibilities
  • Group HR Strategy & Business Partnership:
    Act as primary HR advisor to senior management and entity leaders. Translate business objectives into scalable HR strategies and support organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and change initiatives across entities.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management:
    Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding across entities. Proactively address workforce gaps, turnover risks, and manpower quality issues.
  • Performance Management & Development:
    Design and maintain group-wide KPI-based performance management frameworks. Support leadership in reviews, talent assessments, corrective actions, and coordinate training or leadership development programs.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance:
    Manage employee relations, disciplinary cases, investigations, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and internal HR policies, acting as the key authority for sensitive matters requiring discretion.
  • HR Operations, Payroll & Governance:
    Oversee HR operations including payroll review, employee data, contracts, benefits, and HR documentation. Standardize policies and SOPs across entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
  • Organizational Culture & Engagement:
    Promote alignment with group values, culture, and expected behaviors. Implement engagement initiatives to support retention, productivity, and morale while balancing discipline with cultural sensitivity.
  • HR Systems & Reporting:
    Manage HRIS usage and improvements. Track and analyze HR metrics (turnover, performance, attendance, manpower costs) to support informed decision‑making.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 8 years progressive HR experience, including HRBP, HR Manager, or Group HR roles; proven multi‑entity or multi‑site experience, with last 3 years in strategic/managerial positions; background in property, hospitality, or construction preferred.
  • Language:
    Strong English, both written and spoken.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Deep knowledge of Indonesian labor law, employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, talent development, and HR governance; able to balance strategic leadership with hands‑on execution.
  • Professional

    Skills:

    Trusted, discreet, mature, and pragmatic; capable of navigating diverse owners and leadership styles; agile, resilient, culturally adaptable; strong alignment with organizational values, ethics, and sustainability.
