This position performs a variety of accounting activities under minimal supervision to ensure timely and accurate journal entries, reconciliations and reporting.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare account reconciliations and book month end journal entries as assigned.
- Prepare monthly analysis of factory overhead and assist in preparation of monthly forecast.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation based on performance of interim inventories, factor reviews, and play a key role in the coordination of physical inventory.
- Assist with various audits, including financial and operational audits.
- Ensure proper internal controls exist and perform audits to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Participate in process improvement to standardize best practices.
- Provide pertinent financial/accounting data to management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- CPA/CMA and Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience with SAP preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Must be comfortable making oral presentations to peers and management.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organizational skills required to manage various projects.
- Deadline-driven and self-motivated.
