About the Company Orison Holdings, LLC is a real estate investment and development firm in Denton, Texas specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of a diverse portfolio of properties and operating companies across multiple industries. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team.
Position Summary The Accounting Manager is responsible for full-cycle accounting operations across multiple entities, including financial reporting, payroll and benefits administration, intercompany billing, cash management, and compliance. This is an in-office role.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a staff accountant and oversee daily accounting operations
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for multiple entities
- Support development team through project reporting and loan maintenance
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Manage & reconcile benefit invoices and assist with annual benefit renewal
- Oversee intercompany expense allocations and billing
- Prepare annual financial budgets for operating companies
- Monitor cash needs across entities and coordinate funding with management
- Prepare and file annual 1099 reports for all entities
- Administer the accounting software programs
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and automation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership responsibilities
- Experience with financial reporting for multiple entities or properties
- Proficiency in accounting software, Quickbooks or Yardi preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with payroll processing and systems, Paylocity a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and drive improvements
- Effective communication skills
- Maturity and discretion in handling confidential information
