Senior Cost Accountant

I’m partnering with a highly respected, manufacturing organization in Denton to hire a Senior Cost Accountant
.

• Standard costing and analysis of inventory costs
• Material variance and factor-change accounting
• Month-end journal entries, analysis and reconciliations
• Forecasting and budget analysis
• Inventory reconciliations and physical inventory audits
• SOX and internal control testing
• Ad hoc analysis and special projects for management
• Partnering across accounting, operations and other areas of the business

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
  
  Ability to communicate effectively across the organization
• CPA, CMA and/or Master’s degree is a plus
• Manufacturing, cost accounting or inventory experience would be particularly attractive
