RoleSummary
The Intersect Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a high?volume portfolio of utility distribution projects. In this role, you will provide essential administrative, financial, and documentation support to project managers overseeing fast?paced, quick?turnaround initiatives.
You will manage paperwork, ensure accurate billing, maintain compliance records, and serve as a communication hub across internal teams and client stakeholders. Your work directly contributes to project efficiency, financial accuracy, and operational success.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, including work orders, permits, compliance forms, and supporting materials.
- Verify billing accuracy, match invoices to approved work orders, and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate daily communication between project managers, field teams, and client representatives to ensure alignment on timelines and documentation needs.
- Update and maintain project trackers and databases for overhead and underground distribution work.
- Generate reports on invoicing status, outstanding paperwork, and compliance requirements.
- Support internal audits, reviews, and quality assurance processes by providing accurate, timely documentation.
- Ensure adherence to project, client, and regulatory standards at all times.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or billing/invoicing.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management or tracking tools preferred.
- Background in construction, utilities, electrical work, or distribution strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence in customer?facing interactions.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills in a high?volume environment.
- Ability to work quickly and independently, manage competing priorities, and remain reliable under tight timelines.
- Team?oriented demeanor—collaborative, proactive, and supportive rather than directive or supervisory.
- Contract Duration: Approximately 6 months
- Hours: 40 hours/week with potential for 5–10 hours/week overtime (manager approval required)
