Medical Office Receptionist – Heart & Vascular Specialists Clinic – Full‑time, Days
Work location:
2505 Scripture Street, Denton, TX 76201.
Work hours:
Full‑time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–2:00pm.

- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Six months of medical experience in a clinic (preferred).
- Six months of business office customer service experience (preferred).
- Outgoing, friendly attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi‑task front‑desk job responsibilities for a busy family practice/internal medicine clinic.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer‑service, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of insurance authorization/billing requirements.
- Administrative and time‑management skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Understanding of clinic procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
- Team‑player who can handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Receptionist Process.
- Under direct supervision, performs patient check‑in at the time of visit and completes all paperwork necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and all clinic and regulatory policies are in compliance.
- Schedules appointments according to office guidelines.
- Obtains accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductible amounts.
- Conducts all functions associated with patient check‑in, including pricing services, collecting patient responsibility payments, and scheduling follow‑up appointments.
- Confirms next‑day appointments and alerts patients as to required documentation, including details associated with time‑of‑service payment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
